Can I reprint my tickets?

Yes your tickets can be reprinted UNTIL they have been redeemed. Once a ticket has been scanned one time, it can no longer be reprinted.

What does General Admission for the Enduro Race and Truck & Tractor Pull mean?

During the Enduro Race and Truck & Tractor Pull you will be able to sit anywhere in the grandstands, regardless of which Grandstand Showpass ticket you bought (standing room or reserved seating). 

There will be limited seating for both events, so arrive early to get the best seat!

Are there wheelchair rentals available?

HomeTown Mobility is accepting reservations online at www.htmia.com or by calling 1-877-928-5388 from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday and 7 days a week during the Fair to answer questions or assist with a call-in Reservation.  There is a $5 processing fee for all call-in reservations.  Reservations will ONLY be accepted for full day Scooter and Wheelchair rentals.  However, we do hold a limited number of wheelchairs and scooters for walk-up customers on a first come first serve basis.  Reservations need to be made prior to 5pm CST the day before pick up.  A driver's license or state ID is required at pick up for all rentals.  Cancellations must be made prior to 5pm CST 2 days before pick up to receive a full refund, less a $5 cancellation processing fee.  Rental locations are at Gates B & D.  Click here for a fairground map.

Scooters: $60 per full day (9am-11pm), $40 per half day ( 9am-3:00pm or 3:00pm-11pm)

Wheelchairs: $20 per day

Strollers: $12 single & $15 double per day

Wagons: $15 per day

When do tickets go on sale?

On March 16th at 8am you can purchase the Grandstand Showpass, Mega Ride, Daily Gate Admission, Season Gate Admission, Camping Passes, Beer Tickets, Ranch Rodeo and NPRA Bull Riding!  The Grandstand Showpass cost is $110.  Cheap Trick tickets are $25 and Nickelback is $50.

What is the cost of the concert tickets?

The Country Showpass is $110 for Standing Room and Reserved Seating. Cheap Trick is $25, and Nickelback with Pop Evil is $50.

How can I make certain that my camping location is next to my friend or family member?

To ensure that two or more camping spots are located next to each other you need to purchase all spots in one transaction.

What happens if I delete my confirmation email before I print my ticket?

Give us a call at 701-852-FAIR, provide us with the first and last name of the ticket purchaser and the confirmation number and we will be able to resend your confirmation email.

Can I reserve a camping spot for just 1 night?

Only 9 day reservations will be available for camping until May 1st. If there are spots available after that time, they will then be available for purchase by calling the camping office at 838-1193.

How much does gate admission cost?

Jr. Gate Admission for ages 7-12 is $5 per day, while Adult Gate Admission ages 13 and up is $10. If you're planning to attend the Fair for more than three days, you can purchase a Season Pass. An adult pass is $25, while a junior pass is $15.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for gate admission if I bought a concert ticket?

Yes. Gate admission is a separate ticket and is not included with a concert ticket. A season gate pass (good for all nine days) can be purchased for only $25.

What is the Grandstand Showpass?

The Grandstand Showpass includes seven nights of action-packed entertainment at the State Fair, 5 country concerts and 2 dirt-events! The pass is the only way the country concert tickets can be purchased. This year's pass includes Florida Georgia Line with Adam Doleac, Dierks Bentley with Travis Denning, Michael Ray, Cole Swindell with Morgan Evans, and Kip Moore paired with the Enduro Race and Western Grand National Truck & Tractor Pull.

Can I buy a ticket to just one of the country concerts?

Unfortunately not, due to artist restrictions the country concerts are only available on the seven-night Grandstand Showpass.

What are the Hours during the Fair?

State Fair Office, open 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Shuttle buses, 10 a.m. - 10pm
Commercial I and III Buildings, 11 a.m. -10 p.m.
Commercial II Building, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Outdoor exhibits, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Carnival (weekends), 11 a.m. – Midnight
Carnival (weekdays), 1 p.m. - Midnight

Can I bring my dog to the Fair?

Sorry, Fido! Pets are not allowed on the Fairgrounds, although service animals are permitted.

Do kids get into the Fair free?

Yes! Kids six and under get into the Fair for free! They also can attend the concerts and Grandstand events at no cost as long as they do not take up a Reserved seat. Also, keep in mind that strollers are not allowed in the Reserved Seating area.

Where do I park?

The North Dakota State Fair has a large parking lot on the East side of the grounds, accessible from County Road 19. As always parking in the East Lot of the Fairgrounds is FREE!

Or avoid the hassle all together and let us do the driving! Busses will be available from Dakota Square Mall all nine days of the Fair from 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM leaving from JCPenny Court and dropping off at Gate E. Best of all this service is free!

Can I camp at the Fair?

Of course! 9 day camping spots with electricity are available for $180. Single night reservations will be available for $25 May 1st  based on availability. Tent spaces are available for $15 per night.

Where can I get information on having a float in the State Parade?

The 2018 parade will take place Saturday, July 21st! Any other parade questions can be answered by calling the Parade office at 838-0104.

How much do carnival ride wristbands cost?

A Mega Ride wristband is $60 if purchased before June 30 and $70 if purchased July 1st or after. Mega Ride wristbands can be purchased online at ndstatefair.com or by calling 857-7620. Daily ride wristbands will be available at the carnival for $35.

Is there a way to buy my concert tickets without having to pay a convenience fee?

The convenience fee is only applied to your purchase if you buy your tickets online or by phone. You can stop down to the State Fair office to purchase without the additional charge.

When buying my Grandstand tickets online, can I pick the seats I want?

You bet! With our new ticketing system you can pick the exact seats you want and print your tickets from home. This is how the seating sections are arranged. Seats start with row 1 and go up to row 33. The columns are located in row 12. There is a detailed map located in the SRT phone book on pages B-28 and B-29 or you can see it here.

However, due to heavy traffic when tickets go on sale it is best to choose "Best Available". That is the quickest way to get the best seats without someone else grabbing them first.

What happens if I bought my tickets from someone other than the Fair and they don't work?

To ensure that you have valid concert tickets, only purchase your tickets from the North Dakota State Fair Office or at ndstatefair.com through Etix. The State Fair cannot guarantee that tickets purchased from individuals or other websites are valid tickets.

If a concert is cancelled due to the weather, can I get my Showpass refunded?

Showpass ticket has no cash value after a single admission.
