WHAT: The last weekend of the 2021 North Dakota State Fair starts with more livestock shows, music, and vendors. Billy Idol kicks off his 2021 national tour with playing at the North Dakota State Fair at 8:00pm at the grandstand.

The first-ever 4-H ND Public Leadership Showmanship will take place in Arena II of the State Fair Center at 5:00pm. 24 North Dakota leaders will show animals at the arena where they will be judged by 4-H youth in a turn of the tables.

Among the participants are four state representatives and eight state senators, including Minot’s own Sen. David Hogue. Gov. Doug Burgum will also show livestock along with North Dakota State University administrators, Mayor Shaun Sipma, State Fair Director Mark Schaunaman, North Dakota 4-H Foundation Executive Director Penny Dale, State Board of Agricultural Research and Education Chairman Mark Birdsall, and KFYR-TV’s Jody Kerzman.
