Free parking is available on the east side of the grounds (accessible from County Road 19). Free shuttle buses operate between Dakota Square Mall and Gate E during the Fair.
Yes. Nine‑day camping spots with electricity are available; tent spaces are offered per night. Contact the camping office for details.

Tickets may be purchased by phone or online at ndstatefair.com. To avoid additional service fees, visit one of our ticket kiosks located at all Marketplace Foods locations, Dakota Square Mall, and just outside the Grandstand. In‑person assistance is also available at the State Fair Office.

Daily gate admission is $5 for juniors (ages 7–12) and $12 for adults (ages 13+). Season passes are $25 for adults and $15 for juniors. (pricing listed is the in-person or kiosk pricing)
Yes. Children six and under receive free admission. They may attend concerts and grandstand events at no additional cost if they do not occupy a reserved seat. Strollers are not permitted in the grandstand.
Yes. Gate admission is a separate purchase. A Season Pass, valid for all nine days of the Fair, is available for $25. (pricing listed is the in-person or kiosk pricing)
A Mega Ride wristband is $80 before June 30 and $95 after June 30. Daily ride wristbands will be available at the carnival for $42. Wristbands can be purchased online at ndstatefair.com. (pricing listed is the in-person or kiosk pricing)
he Grandstand Showpass includes access to all six nights of entertainment during the Fair: four country concerts and two dirt‑track events. Concerts are not sold individually due to artist contract restrictions.

Yes — if tickets are still available on the day of the event, they will be sold at the Grandstand starting at 10:00 AM for $30.

No. Printed tickets are not required. You may present your ticket using a screenshot, stored in your mobile wallet, or a printed copy — as long as the barcode is clear and scannable at entry.

Unfortunately not, due to artist restrictions the showpass concerts are only available on the six-night Grandstand Showpass.

For these events, all guests may sit anywhere in the grandstand, regardless of ticket type. Seating is limited, so we recommend arriving early for the best views.
Security personnel are posted at each entrance. Personal belongings may be searched upon entry. Guests who refuse inspection will be denied entry without refund. Firearms and weapons are prohibited per state law.
Section 62.1-02-05 of the North Dakota Century Code precludes the possession of a firearm or dangerous weapon on publicly owned or operated property (including by those who possess a concealed carry permit)
The North Dakota State Fair Grounds are publicly owned.
Bags are permitted and do not need to be clear; however, all bags are subject to search at both the Fairgrounds and Grandstand entry points.
Yes. Full‑day scooter and wheelchair rentals, as well as wagons and strollers, are available through HomeTown Mobility. Reservations are recommended and must be made 24 hours in advance.
Yes. A nursing room is available on the second floor of the State Fair Center.
Pets are not allowed on the Fairgrounds. Service animals are welcome.
