Graduating Class Scholarship Application

Scholarship Guidelines 2025

Please read all guidelines carefully before completing the application. All applications must be submitted electronically. The application package must include the application form and an authorization form signed by an FFA Advisor, 4-H Leader, or County Extension Agent.

Application Deadline: 

A completed application must be submitted online by June 13, 2025.  A completed application will include your online application and return of the Scholarship Verification Form, completed by your authorizing FFA Advisor, 4-H Leader or County Extension Agent.

**Applications without a Scholarship Verification Form will not be accepted.

 Scholarship Drawing: 

Qualified applicants will be recognized as the “North Dakota State Fair Graduating Class of 2025” during a presentation on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the North Dakota State Fair. Six graduates will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship through a random drawing. Attendance is required to be eligible.

Scholarship Amount: 

Six scholarships of $1,000 each are available.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or born in the U.S. and residents of North Dakota.
  • Academic Standing: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors in 2025.
  • College/University Enrollment: Applicants must plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution or trade school for the 2025-2026 academic year.
  • North Dakota State Fair Participation: Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience exhibiting or competing in 4-H or FFA at the North Dakota State Fair.
  • 4-H or FFA Membership: Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years of membership in 4-H or FFA.
  • Reference: Each application must include a verification form signed by a 4-H Leader, FFA Advisor, or County Extension Agent, confirming the applicant’s 3 years of participation in 4-H or FFA at the North Dakota State Fair and 4 years of membership in either organization.
  • Attendance Requirement: Applicants must attend the scholarship drawing on July 23, 2025, at the North Dakota State Fair to be eligible.
