Welcome to the North Dakota State Fair Scholarship Application Portal
The North Dakota State Fair, in conjunction with the Minot Area Community Foundation, is proud to offer scholarships for high school seniors and students pursuing post-secondary education. These scholarships are awarded to students involved in 4-H and FFA who have demonstrated commitment, leadership, and a desire to make an impact in their fields.
Available Scholarships:
Graduating Class Scholarship
Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by June 12, 2026.
Supports high school seniors who have actively participated in 4-H or FFA at the North Dakota State Fair. This scholarship can be used at any accredited college, university, or trade school.
Chevron Scholarship Program
Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026.

In partnership with the North Dakota State Fair, in conjunction with the Minot Area Community Foundation, Chevron offers scholarships to North Dakota high school seniors who have actively participated in 4-H or FFA and plan to pursue higher education or trade certification.
Thanks to a generous $40,000 investment from Chevron, the program awards:
Three $10,000 scholarships supporting oil and gas–related careers, community support professions, or trade schools
Five $2,000 scholarships to additional finalists
Chevron values students pursuing careers in energy as well as those contributing broadly to community well-being—including agriculture, engineering, education, healthcare, skilled trades, and more. Applicants are encouraged to share how their education and career goals will help strengthen North Dakota’s future.
Application Requirement:
A completed Scholarship Verification Form, signed by a 4-H Leader, FFA Advisor, or County Extension Agent, must be uploaded with the application.
Chevron 4-H & FFA Club Grant Program
Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by March 15, 2026.
Chevron Corporation is committed to strong corporate citizenship by protecting people and the environment while making a positive impact in the communities where it operates.
Through the North Dakota State Fair, in conjunction with the Minot Area Community Foundation, Chevron awards twenty (20) $500 grants to North Dakota 4-H Clubs and FFA Chapters.
Grant funds may be used for:
Community Service Projects benefiting the club or local community
North Dakota State Fair Participation, including group expenses related to exhibiting or participating at the Fair
Grants are intended to support group opportunities, not individual members, and may not be used for premium funding.
Grant Requirements:
Funds must be used prior to the 2026 North Dakota State Fair
Grant recipients must create a posterboard display at the 2026 Fair showing how funds were used
All applications must be submitted online
