2025 Ranch Rodeo at the North Dakota State Fair
Get ready for the excitement of the 2025 North Dakota State Fair Ranch Rodeo, showcasing the grit and skill of ranch teams from across the region! This year’s competition introduces a thrilling two-night format:
- Wednesday, July 23rd: Up to 18 teams will compete in the preliminary round, battling for a chance to move on to the finals.
- Thursday, July 24th: The top 8-12 teams from Wednesday will face off for the ultimate title of the NDSF 2025 Ranch Rodeo Champion.
Cash Prizes & Awards
The North Dakota State Fair is contributing $5,000 in cash and prizes, bringing the Ranch Rodeo purse to a total of $9,820 with the maximum 18 teams competing. The 1st Place Team will also receive a custom NDSF Ranch Rodeo Champion Buckle!
*The cash prize depends on the number of registered teams. The maximum total purse is $9,820, based on 18 teams competing on Wednesday and 12 teams advancing to the Championship round on Thursday.
- Registration Fees: All registration fees are fully allocated to the prize pool and distributed among the top 5 winners based on a percentage structure.
- The Top Hand of the competition will be honored with a custom buckle, awarded Thursday night, adding even more excitement to the event!
Registration Details
- Event Registration: $180 per team
- Gate Passes (4 team members): $48 = $12/team member
- Additional Gate Passes: can be purchased at the time of registration for an additional $12/gate pass per person per night.
- Total due at registration: $228/night
- Gate passes will be printed and delivered upon receipt of payment via email (recommended) or USPS.
- Registration fees are 100% paid out to the top 5 winners based on a percentage structure.
