The 2025 North Dakota State Fair Opens Tomorrow!
MINOT, ND — July 17, 2025 — The North Dakota State Fair opens tomorrow, July 18, and runs through July 26 in Minot. Now in its 60th year, this milestone celebration includes new attractions, expanded food options, and more entertainment than ever before.
“Reaching 60 years is a big milestone, and it’s a credit to the people who’ve supported this event year after year,” said Craig Rudland, General Manager of the North Dakota State Fair. “We’ve built something that brings in families, vendors, and visitors from all over, and this year is no different. Whether you’re here for the shows, the food, or the competition, there’s something for everyone.”
Grandstand highlights include performances included in the Grandstand Showpass: Bailey Zimmerman, Ian Munsick, Sawyer Brown, Luke Bryan, the Demo Derby, and the MHA Indian Horse Relay.
Single Night Ticket events include Jelly Roll, Limp Bizkit, and the Turn Up, ND! show featuring Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Bow Wow, and Soulja Boy.
Fairgoers can enjoy over 60 free activities with gate admission—including stunt shows, animal acts, cultural performances, and nightly DJ afterparties. New this year is the lighted State Fair Way walking path and the debut of American Freestyle Bullfighting and Bull Riding.
Special days include Pepsi Deals Day and Military Appreciation Day on Tuesday, July 22, and Senior Day on Thursday, July 24. Kiddie contests, like the Diaper Derby and Cupcake Decorating, and the third annual Hometown Sound competition, and a two-night Ranch Rodeo, round out the schedule.
