Honoring the Class of 2025: Scholarships Awarded at ND State Fair

Minot, NDJuly 24, 2025 – The North Dakota State Fair (NDSF), in partnership with the Minot Area Community Foundation, awarded six $1,000 scholarships to members of the North Dakota State Fair Graduating Class of 2025. The scholarship recipients were honored during a special presentation held Wednesday at the Fair.

This year’s scholarship recipients, selected through a random drawing, are:

– Alyssa Korgel, Minot, ND
– Baily Kunz, New Salem, ND
– Karady Evans, New England, ND
– Rose Schiele, Balfour, ND
– Martin Heberlie, Des Lacs, ND
– Zack Volson, Balfour, ND

Additional members of the 2025 Graduating Class who were honored include: Haley McLeod (Lisbon), Paige Delaney (Alexander), Abigail Ryun (Woodworth), Madilyn Spatola (Rocklake), Austin Lakefield (Mohall), Brekka Kuss (Woodworth), Elizabeth Michel (Berthold), Brooklyn Bloms (Carpio), Andrew Zikmund (Park River), Walker Cundiff (Keene), Kristyn Bauer (Zap), Noah Harriman (Bowman), Sigryn Henke (Stanton), Aiyanna Jaeger (Granville), Kaden Nelsen (Leeds), Holdyn Jacobson (Leeds), Isabel Wendel (Carrington), Hannah Myrdal (Edinburg), Camilynne Walkers (Cando), Ellie Bargmann (Mandan), Makayla Kraft (Minot), Gracie Rauschenberger (Minot), Katy Roise (Powers Lake), Connor Rudland (Minot), Aubree Lunde (Upham), Natalee Becker (Sawyer), Colton Green (Maddock), Amber Braasch (Minot), Macy Monson (Venturia), Jericka Schenfisch (Makoti), Aubrianna Staloch (Williston), Miranda Novodvorsky (Douglas), Jennifer Volson (Minot), and Katelyn Hall (Edinburg).

To be recognized as part of the NDSF Graduating Class of 2025 and eligible for the scholarship, students must have exhibited and/or competed at the NDSF for a minimum of three years and have been a member of 4-H or FFA for at least four years. Applicants must also be North Dakota residents and enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution or trade school for the upcoming academic year.

The scholarships were made possible thanks to the generosity of the family of Dick Jensen, whose support helps celebrate and invest in the future of these dedicated young individuals.
