Minot, ND – July 25, 2025 — The North Dakota State Fair’s Hometown Sound competition crowned Mendenhall Crossing as this year’s winner on the evening of July 23, just before the Sawyer Brown concert on the Grandstand stage.

Based in North Dakota, Mendenhall Crossing has been writing and performing together since 2020. With strong country roots, the group brings an authentic, high-energy experience to every stage—blending classic influences with a fresh perspective. Known for their crowd interaction and musical versatility, their live sets span genres and keep audiences on their feet.

As Hometown Sound champions, Mendenhall Crossing earned the opportunity to open for a Grandstand act at the 2025 Fair, showcasing their talent to a packed crowd and marking a major milestone in their musical journey.
