What happens if I delete my confirmation email before I print my ticket?
Give us a call at 701-857-7620, provide us with the first and last name of the ticket purchaser and the confirmation number and we will be able to resend your confirmation email.
 
How can I make certain that my camping location is next to my friend or family member?
To ensure that two or more camping spots are located next to each other you need to purchase all spots in one transaction.
 
Can I refund my camping spot if something comes up before the Fair and I cannot use it?
Camping refunds will be possible until June 1st. After June 1st no refunds will be given.
 
Can I reserve a camping spot for just 1 night?
Only 9 day reservations will be available for camping until June 1. If there are spots available after that time, they will then be available for purchase by calling the camping office at 838-1193.
 
What is the cost of the concert tickets?
The Grandstand Showpass which includes Tim McGraw, Brantley Gilbert, Enduro Race, IMCA Stock Car& Modified Races, Sawyer Brown, Scotty McCreery & Toby Keith is $85. Journey is $65 and Creedence Clearwater Revisited is $$20 on it's own or $10 when purchased with a Journey ticket.
 
How much does gate admission cost?
Jr. Gate Admission for ages 7-12 is $4 per day, while Adult Gate Admission ages 13 and up is $8. If you're planning to attend the Fair for more than three days you can purchase a Season Pass. An adult pass is $25, while a junior pass is $15.
 
Do I need to purchase a ticket for gate admission if I bought a concert ticket?
Yes. Gate admission is a separate ticket and is not included with a concert ticket. A season gate pass (good for all nine days) can be purchased for only $25.
 
What is the Grandstand Showpass?
The Grandstand Showpass includes seven nights of action-packed entertainment at the State Fair, 5 concerts and 2 auto-events! This year's pass includes Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Brantley Gilbert, Sawyer Brown & Scotty McCreery. The pass is only $85 and is the only way the country concert tickets can be purchased.
 
Can I buy a ticket to just one of the country concerts?
Unfortunately not, due to artist restrictions the country concerts are only available on the seven-night Grandstand Showpass.
 
What are the Hours during the Fair?
State Fair office, open 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Shuttle buses, 10 a.m. - midnight
Commercial I and III Buildings, 11 a.m. -10 p.m.
Commercial II Building, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Outdoor exhibits, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Carnival (weekends), 11 a.m. – Midnight
Carnival (weekdays), 1 p.m. - Midnight
 
Can I bring my dog to the Fair?
Sorry Fido! Pets are not allowed on the Fairgrounds, although service animals are permitted.
 
Do kids get into the Fair free?
Yes! Kids six and under get into the Fair for free! They also can attend the concerts and Grandstand events at no cost as long as they do not take up a Reserved seat. Also, keep in mind that strollers are not allowed in the Reserved Seating area.
 
Where do I park?
The North Dakota State Fair has a large parking lot on the East side of the grounds, accessible from County Road 19. As always parking in the East Lot of the Fairgrounds is FREE!
 
Can I camp at the Fair?
Of course! Spots with electricity are $20 per night and will be available for purchase on April 10 or by calling 838-1193.
 
Where can I get information on having a float in the State Parade?
The 2013 parade application will be posted and the theme will be announced in mid-April. Any other parade questions can be answered by calling the Parade office at 838-0104.
 
How much do carnival ride wristbands cost?
A daily unlimited ride wristband is $35 while a nine-day Mega Ride wristband is $60 if purchased before July 1 and $70 if purchased after.
 
Is there a way to buy my concert tickets without having to pay a convenience fee?
The convenience fee is only applied to your purchase if you buy your tickets online or by phone. You can stop down to the State Fair office to purchase without the additional charge.
 
When do tickets go on sale?
The Grandstand Showpass, Mega Ride, Daily Gate Admission, Season Gate Admission, Camping Passes, Beer Tickets, Ranch Rodeo and NPRA Bull Riding all go on sale April 10.
 
When buying my Grandstand tickets online can I pick the seats I want?
You bet! With our new ticketing system you can pick the exact seats you want and print your tickets from home. This is how the seating sections are arranged. Seats start with row 3 and go up to row 33. The columns are located in row 12. There is a detailed map located in the SRT phone book on pages B-28 and B-29 or you can see it here.

 
What happens if I bought my tickets from someone other than the Fair and they don't work?
To ensure that you have valid concert tickets, only purchase your tickets from the North Dakota State Fair Office or at www.ndstatefair.com through Etix. The State Fair can not guarantee that tickets purchased from individuals or other websites are valid tickets.
 
If a concert is cancelled due to the weather, can I get my Showpass refunded?
If a concert is cancelled due to weather, the only Showpass holders who will receive a refund will be those who have not used their Showpass to gain entry into any Grandstand event or concert in 2013.
